Why become a cat sitter with The Cat Society

You get paid, whatever happens

The owner pays before the sitting. Your payment is secure and you never have to chase anyone for money.

You know who you’re meeting

A badge flags owners who have had their ID verified. And you can read the reviews other sitters have left about them.

Sittings with no nasty surprises

Every booking comes with detailed instructions, so you know what you’re signing up for.

You’re protected during the sitting

Support from the Cat Society team if anything goes wrong.

Two ways to get started
1

Host a cat at your place
A studio flat is enough, from 15 m². Flatshares are fine. The only other condition: no other pets at home.

2

Do home visits
You drop by the owner’s home to feed and cuddle the cat, at your own pace. At each visit, you send photos from the app to reassure the owner.

There’s a third option, which isn’t paid in money: with house sitting, you stay at the owner’s home while they’re away, and the accommodation is your reward. See how to become a house sitter.
